I really enjoyed this book Gareth was a great wounded hero I loved the way he used his artistry to raise money for the charity When I see a hero with the kind of sensitivity that can make such beautiful things, I know he will love completely When Gracie shows up, he is sure that she is up to something Because of a past problem with a woman trying to steal something from him, he is unwilling to trust her But as he gets to know her, he can t believe she would do something like that Meanwhile, Grac [...]

I wasn t able to finish this Apparently, the last half is better than the first, from the reviews I couldn t make it to the half way The dialogue bugged me a lot, the instant burning thighs from a woman who should be at least a little freaked out about who she is irritated me I get that it is a romance, but take a chapter and devote it to the emotions that a gal would be having when she wakes up and doesn t remember who she is I did not care or want to care about these characters, which made it [...]

D2135 Jan12 Men of Wolff Mt Gracie Darlington and Gareth Wolff meet when she shows up at his door and he scares her She backs away from him and falls off his porch and is knocked out When she come to she has no memory of why she s wanted to see him.

3.5I m a fan of Janice Maynard to begin with and find that she s a reliable writer for a good read, perhaps not amazing, but never bad There will always be a scene or character that really stick in your memory too This story has a great brooding hero my favorite kind and deals with amnesia Amnesia is a great tool to employ in these shorter books It allows you to steer clear things that might bog a story down On the flip side, these shorter stories don t always allow for a lot of expansion Gareth [...]

A brooding reclusive billionaire and a damsel in distresswith amnesia I couldn t resist This was the kind of story where the whole thing could ve been avoided if he d just called 911 to begin with she was a trespasser with a head injury , but then what fun would that be A character with amnesia for 90% of the book, like Gracie, is tough, because I have to wonder if we re really seeing the real her It seemed to work for this book It was clear that Gareth was in a lot of pain, and Gracie had what [...]

When Gracie is sent up the mountain by her father on a mission to see Gareth Wolff, bad stuff starts happening First Gracie had to climb all the way up the mountain, so she didn t get caught by security or get caught period before she could get to Gareth Secondly when she knocks on the door and Gareth tells her to go away, she falls off the step and gets amnesia Now Gareth is stuck with Gracie and has no clue what to do with her but he will not under any circumstances admit that he has fallen in [...]

I loved the whole series but this one was my favourite One thing I found a bit strange was that the first three books cross referenced each other a lot, with character stories continuing dinner table interaction etc The next three, didn t seem to do this as much which I found strange since most of the cousins either lived on Wolff Mountain or visited a lot Book 7 tied up the story nicely.

This one started out better than your average romance novel The amnesia plot is typical, but Maynard s writing is good and I was hooked Then it dissolves into a dysfunctional sex fest with the brood master and main character Gareth Wolff, who really should get some therapy The heroine Gracie is weak and vapid Can t really recommend this one.

I typically don t read amnesia story lines in books, this one was well written and managed to be fresh The cover is the reason I bought this book and the concept of a Wolff Mountain this is book one about the family living on their mountain My only complaint was too many things happened to the heroine.

  11. Christina

slightly predictable worst part was trying to hold the book in a position that was comfortable and yet still being able to read it the words were so close to the inside bond that it made it difficult to hold.

  12. Leslie

Like this book a lot, the fact the Gareth allowed Gracie into his heart But I wished there had been slightly to the ending of when they got back together And I m always one for a good epilogue while it worked how it was, it would of been nice

This is the first book in The Men of wolff Mountain series and I really liked it The H had a tortured soul after childhood trauma He feared he was unable to feel anything until the h showed up at his secluded home under suspicious circumstances.

  14. Donna

I loved this book I have a soft spot for amnesia themes and this book did not disappoint Will definitely be checking out other works by this author

  15. Cary

More sex than was needed and some suspension of reality is necessary Rich guy with troubles and amnesia

  16. Moran

So far this is my fav book of 2012 I found myself in tears in the last few chapters.Full review to come.

  17. Tanya Mayes

Love this book So far I love the whole series all the Wolff men and woman was good reads Gareth I felt was the hardest to come around but with Gracie s love he found his way.

  18. Debbie

Heroine fall, hits head and ends up with amnesia Not a theme I read a lot of If it s well written I like it I liked this story.

  19. Ladyacct

I don t know it was okay, there was something about the first three chapters that didn t put me off as I finished the book and found I liked the last half MUCH better than the first.
