I am drawn to darkness I am drawn to the darkness that comes from the normal, the extraordinary in the extraordinary that is just normal Barizini is a credit to the prose poet tradition, and to poets everywhere Recommended for those who need a break from the Romantic and hearty with the tears and the feelings and the thump thump of hearts who need some adversity in their reading habits.

Barzini is someone new to me, but I loved the mix of irreverence and carefully postured prose like Lutz meets Vonnegut, in a way, or a dirty kind of Lutz, or something else entirely that was both polished vocab, phrasing yet raw situation, narrative lines Highly recommended and available in a dbook from Calamari too, which means you could be reading it, like, five minutes from now, which is cool.

Chiara Barzini s short prose reads like sprawling monoliths that gradually topple over you until the last page Absolutely enthralling fictions and perfectly suitable art by Cal A Mari Give this book to your friends.
