Fun, fast read read this in a couple of hours when I wasn t feeling well and wanted something to divert me More a travel journal than a guide, though the guide part is only about 1 3th of the book, the rest is a log of the author s own Camino But she has a way with words and a sense of humour that shone through, so it perfectly suited my purpose.

I ll be walking part of the Camino soon I loved this book It told me what I needed to know Wardrobe, wine, toothpaste, and chocolate croissants what else do I need to know Really, I enjoyed reading a book by a woman about my age doing what I hope to do soon Thank you Sunshine Jen.

  4. Lucy Longpath

This book was an enjoyable light read I was planning to walk the Camino in the Spring of 2015, and this book was among those I chose to read before I went Along with some of the other books I read, this book helped to provide a picture of what it might be like to walk the camino.

  5. Alasdair Kay

Easy reading fun and light hearted possibly best read after your own CaminoA good fun travelog for those considering the practicalities of the Camino loses detail and pace after 30 pages though

  6. Anne Lawrence

Loved the advice and her journal entries Appreciate her perspective of starting stopping starting again.

  7. Arlene

If you have seen the movie, The Way starring Martin Sheen, you will enjoy this book of Jen s experience walking the Camino de Santiago.

  8. Barb Kelownagurl

So far, this is my favourite book about someone s journey on the Camino Man easy read, good info, funny, and interesting.

  9. Galina

Read this before and partially during the walk Did not appear to give the essential details required to safely, efficiently and enjoyably do the walk.
