This fabulous debut takes place in 885 A.D in what we now know as the Great Basin of Western Utah It s the story of Koicto and his amazing adventure from boy to chief of the Nahchee For anyone who appreciates well researched Native American historical fiction The writing is gorgeous and very visual Once I started this book, I was unable to put it down until I reached the very last page.
