This was the most horribly edited book I ve ever read in my life, and I couldn t put it down Because despite the grammatical errors and awful sentence structure was the most compelling, fascinating, soul wrenching book I have read in a long time Very rarely does a book make me cry, and this one did several times I loved premise a dna based virus that causes lymphoma and wipes out nearly the entire population As an oncology nurse this was right up my alley, from a disease perspective But is the s [...]

To the survivors is an honest book which does exactly what it says on the tin It describes how the survivors of a virus driven apocalypse might cope Think of it as a hymn to survival. What it is not is a sensationalist wham bang Hollywood movie style book which lovingly focusses on the apocalypse itself There are no zombies, nothing supernatural, no cliff hangers, no superheroes Just ordinary people doing their best to manage. The blurb warns you about explicit sex, but I wouldn t worry about that [...]

A virus is threatening man kind and everyone available is trying to find a cure and to prepare for what is to come Their estimations aren t looking good and everything seems to be getting worse How many will survive, will there even anyone left or will the virus lead to extinction It s been a full day since i finished To The Survivors At first i wasn t quite sure what to write, my mind was and is still reeling This has got to be the best book i have read in a while, if not the best book i ve rea [...]

This one starts rather slowly, as there is a virus discovered and academics, scientists, and the government race to find a cure Then it quickly picks up steam as it switches to a young man who survives, in an energy producing home, after his parents both die He eventually ventures out and finds other survivors The book carries through to the next generation or 2 While it could use some editing, I found myself not wanting to put it down I would recommend it if you are fan of dystopian fiction or [...]

Loved this book I hope that if anything like this ever happens, that the government helps us the way the government in the book helped the survivors God protect us.

This was a really good book, the only thing that kept me rating it as a 5 is that it was overly descriptive at times and the story wavered That said it was a really good read.

To The SurvivorsFirst let me get the bad out of the way because I would feel dishonest if I didn t point out to potential readers the terrible editing and writing The author seems to use commas in a whole different manner than what would be considered normal I myself have been accused of missing commas but in this book they are either too few or too many depending upon the author s whims. At first I thought it was perhaps some long lost British style but I soon put that notion out of my mind Most [...]

FairFirst, editing is worse I ve ever seen I constantly had to re read to make something make sensecond,I really had to suspend my belief on this one.I want to believe man kind would be as this author writes.but again, we only have limited experience on catastrophic events to compare to what he writesd last, some times he wrote events way too fast while next, way too slow all that said, not the best but certainly not the worse.

I m not sure that I think that so few survivors as are portrayed in this novel, would be quite so organized to keep spreadsheets and other notes Nonetheless, it kept me interested to the end of the book.
