This book is overwhelming Its awesome and easy to understand A picture of God s unconditional love and acceptance in His children, that no matter what you did, no matter what your past is, no matter how many times you fail in life, how many wrong decisions you ve made, He sees you as a champion, a conqueror, He welcomes you with open arms and His love is greater Parents, I highly recommend this book not only for your children, but for yourselves as well This book will show parents how to love un [...]

The Big House is the best book for young children that I have read in a long time. The story is an analogy of the House of the Father where there are many mansions, and also a picture of God s unconditional love for us, his children Two orphan kids are brought to this Big House their new home by their adopted father, who is a type of our Heavenly Father, and they experience a whole lot of interesting adventures during which they get wayled into a wilderness of sorts where they experience trouble [...]

This book is subtle, carefully layered, proper yet honest, and completely charming The descriptions of the oceanside, town and family are meditative almost, lulling you even when the story becomes sad Beautiful control by the author, and a very comforting book something I certainly don t have to have to love a book I love Saul Bellow for heaven s sake but that I recognize as rare and precious in literature.

This story was a little plain I think it would have been better if the kids encountered others on their journey This was quite obviously a christian based story that refernced god, heaven and.I thinke bible It was a ok story and was a very quick read I am sure kids would enjoy it.
