I had a really hard time with this book, and even now I m not really sure what it was that I wasn t able to connect with.I enjoyed the characters, I thought there was a good balance between Grant and Lainie I really liked how Ms Staunton created characters that are brought into the domestic discipline lifestyle later in life Granted, they had thought about it in the past, but actually living it That didn t start till later And I thought it was great how realistic Ms Staunton made the transformat [...]

Rated at 4.5 dropped from a 5 due to editing issues Very well written story with two MC s that were pretty realistic and honest Grant and Lainie are two parents that are trying to reconnect and rebuild their family I really liked that Grant worried about not knowing how to give a spanking without causing harm and how he was willing to work with Lainie to get her to understand that the rules applied to them both, not just to her although it bugged me a bit that he didn t define what punishment st [...]

This has landed itself on my favorite s list I love how realistic this book is from the parent teen relationships to the transition into a DD relationship I loved the loop Kathleen threw for Grant and Lainie because it was as real as it gets I hope author Ruth Staunton writes a sequel to this novel I would love to see how Grant and Lainie are doing a year from now I enjoyed getting to know other sides of existing Corbin s Bend characters as well Bravo, Ruth, this was a book well done

Kind of nice to have the perspective of an older couple that are just finding their way around to the whole domestic discipline Also, having the view from the teenager who sort of thrust into the community We also get a different view of the discipline board as well Great addition to the series.
