Reymont is great if you like long, detailed and imaginative descriptions of people and places, and he is also excellent at character development This book has a surprise ending and is well worth reading.

This is the sequel book to Autumn I found this book to be a wonderful continuation of the first It has beautiful imagery not many authors could produce The first chapter is a prime example of such a thing I highly recommend it for those who enjoyed the first book and realism.
