I would like to start out by saying how well written this novel was Sascha Illyvich did a fantastic job with the choice of words, scenery, characters and emotions I fell in love with the hero and heroines and felt vested in the story.Joszi had turned his back on his pack and his mates Ilona and Lukina ten years ago fleeing Hungary to Texas not wanting the prophecy that he was destined to be the pack Alpha, a responsibility he didn t want, to come to fruition Lukina convinces Joszi to return to H [...]

While I found the idea of a Hungarian werewolf relocated to Texas an intriguing idea, I struggled with the WHY I was told, over and over again, that J zsi wanted to resist his destiny to become pack leader, but not WHY he resisted Especially since he deeply cared about the two mates he d left behind. Also, early on, there s cigar smoking If you like or don t mind cigar smoke, that makes for a distinctive and fairly unusual character trait If you are like me and would just as soon smell dog vomit [...]

Joszi gave me an all new insight into the psyche of Sascha Illyvich, or at least to his enjoyment of certain vices Joszi was a selfish werewolf Unwilling to live up to his destiny, he ran away leaving his mates Ilona and Lukina vulnerable to the Alpha Though he went back and checked on them without letting them know, he was unable to see the abuse they suffered because he had deserted the pack.Selfish and obnoxious, Joszi was an enthralling character The combination of Joszi, Ilona and Lukina wa [...]
