    What gets me through painful times is remembering moments of awe and beauty or loving and kind interactions This book is filled with stories of those moments.

    The author is a Hospice chaplain near New York City These are a series of essays that include her work at Ground Zero and her journey through breast cancer, her horror of losing her hair and her femaleness and, yes, I cried There are a few essays about her work in hospice She had good insights.
