It was okay very predictable, like all chick lit, I guess, but I did get REALLY annoyed with the main character at times She was just so oblivious It was obvious what was going to happen and reading about her stumbling toward the obvious felt, at times, like it was being dragged out too much, like no one could be THAT oblivious That said, though, it was cute in some ways, and the star kitty character was kind of fun.

I m tired of heroines I don t like So, let s see you re beautiful, you re skinny despite any diet or exercise, you have two gorgeous men in love with you, an affectionate gay roommate, an understanding best friend who gives you free food, and you re an excellent baker And I m supposed to feel sorry for you Go sell that soap somewhere else.

  3. Nikki

This was a great light hearted book Typical chick lit did not disappoint It was just what I needed right now a total fluff book, and pretty funny Kind of predictable, but often that is expected with Chick lit I would just like to say for the record, how come my life can t ever turn out the way it alwasy does for the main character of a chick lit novel guess I m just jealous

In this book, Miss Bubbles did steal the show The main character was self obsessed, and kinda crazy I did like the upstairs neighbor sarcasm is always appealing A light read if you re not looking for something serious.

  5. Mary Pessaran

I miss the Red Dress Ink books No new ones coming out They were always a good airplane read This one is really fun The main character is a little shallow and misdirected, but that s part of the fun It s a good, fast read.

  6. Cynthia Kyn

This book is soo out of the box for me I would never normally read anything like this I recently decided that I should be open minded to different genres I gave this a try It is a light and fluffy read Very girlie type book.

  7. Tara

A nice distraction, but really I get frustrated by lead characters who have NO idea who they are or what they want I am however a sucker for a happy ending, no matter how predictable.

  8. Cara

I know this author, too we went to college, together And this book is SO much fun a great summer beach read Or a winter, fireside read.

  9. Brooks

A stupid, quick read but it absolutely laugh out loud Or at least it was for my unsophisticated sense of humor.

While the book wasn t so bad I put it down and didn t finish it, the plot was predictable and the characters mundane Glad I picked it up cheap.

  11. Kim

This was a really fun quick read I loved the characters and, of course, Miss Bubbles One of the best chick lits I ve read in awhile.
